Vicki Davis is a very progressive teacher in my opinion. I think that a lot of schools should implement programs to help children become proficient with computers and the new technologies available through them. One of the problems with this is obviously funding to have enough computers and teachers (especially in Alabama).
I think that the curriculum that she is using will help her students excel in the future. The children being able to use computers and their applications will be a great advantage for her students. I think that this is even more important with her students, seeing that they are from a rural town.

We could make choices about how we spend our money. E-books and computers, instead of print books. Technology instead of football. But then we don't replace the print books often. Anf football cannot be touched. So...
